As part of their IT strategy for airport operations, Flybe has selected Damarel’s Babel Common Language Facility for use at check-ins around their network.
By adopting Babel as a corporate platform, Flybe will be able to use a single check-in solution at all of their CUTE airport locations – whether SITA, ARINC or RESA. This will greatly simplify rollout and support procedures, and ensure that Flybe has a consistent offering at all of their stations.
Babel will also ensure that Flybe is able to easily comply easily with new regulations for APIS countries. By providing form fill input and passport scanning using OCR devices, Babel allows the rapid, automated collection of passport details at check-in, saving time and effort.
With built-in support for 2D barcodes, Babel will also allow Flybe to fully participate in the IATA push toward 2D documents, and the benefits of lower cost printers and stock.
Babel is an advanced Common Language Facility that provides an easy-to-use Graphical User Interface to the airline DCS – speeding check-in and reducing errors.
