Damarel’s Embark LBA2 is now in live operation for Virgin Atlantic at London Heathrow and Manchester, ensuring that Virgin Atlantic's boarding passes with 2D bar codes are read at the departure gate.

Embark has built-in support for both 1D and 2D bar codes, enabling the use of lower cost peripherals and stock at the airport, and supporting the home check-in revolution. Embark LBA2 also comes with a variety of options for data storage, from the traditional Oracle RDBMS to a simpler local data store.
