Self-service check-in has a major role to play in modern passenger handling, providing a convenient check-in channel for customers while at the same time reducing pressure on full service desks and reducing handling costs.

The kiosk features a simple to use touch-screen interface to guide the passenger through the check-in process, along with an integrated passport OCR scanner and 2D enabled receipt-style GPP. Optional modules include credit card swipes and even a bag tag printer for self-tagging.

Coupled with the built-in Fast Bag Drop solution for L-DCS, Damarel’s new kiosk provides a simple, cost effective way of increasing terminal capacity, reducing handling costs and adding passenger convenience.
