Damarel’s NAVIGAtour product for travel agencies, now has the capability to accept credit card payments for bookings made on line. To complement the online booking system for flights and tours, the traveller can also now pay for their holiday using a credit card at time of booking. The system is completely secure as no credit card details are held on the travel agent’s database. The credit card payment facility uses the VSP Direct service from ProtX which allows a secure HTTPS POST transaction to be made over the internet, returning security check and success/fail indications in a matter of seconds.
