Jet2.com, one of Europe's leading low cost airlines, has adopted L-DCS and LodeStone for use at their home base in Leeds Bradford Airport. To help keep pace with their expanding operation, Jet2.com chose to implement a suite of products from Damarel, allowing them to deliver a quality check-in and boarding experience to their passengers. Using AuRA CUTE as the platform, the selection of L-DCS and LodeStone provides fully featured, automated Check-in and Boarding along with integrated Weight and Balance. Jet2.com have also made sure their self-handling operation is right at the leading edge of airport technology, adopting a fully 2D bar code approach for check-in printers, Boarding Gate Readers and Fast Bag Drop scanners. This approach, coupled with Type B IATA messaging via email, is helping to reduce overheads while providing the highest quality service.
