FiNDnet, the Flight Operational Database for Handling Agents, in now running live at London's Stansted Airport.

This is the second of a staged implementation for Swissport UK, one of the UK’s largest ground handlers.

Certified to run on SITA's CUTE/NT and APC platforms, FiNDnet is readily deployed to existing workstations within the airport setup.

FiNDnet acts as a central store for all flight schedule and movement information, automating many of the traditionally manual tasks involved in turning a flight around and ensuring that all staff are kept up to date with real-time information. Benefits of FiNDnet include:

• A high degree of automation using triggered events and external links, including visual cue status changes on information displays activated by final approach messages from local apron radar, and the automatic sending of movement messages on departure.
• Full access to type B messaging from any computer at any location within the operation, from check-in to departure gate.
• Browser based delivery allowing access to all flight operations facilities throughout the ground handling operation, across the LAN, WAN or Internet.
• Improving co-ordination of the operation through timely distribution of real-time information to staff and suppliers.
