Damarel are supplying a number of Babel TEs, Embark LBA2 and it’s own L-DCS departure control system to the new state of the art terminal at Tan Son Nhut airport in Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) formerly Saigon. Tan Son Nhut is currently a bustling, chaotic and overcrowded airport in the rapidly expanding Ho Chi Minh City. A brand new state of the art terminal capable of processing up to 15 million passengers per annum opens in September 2007. L-DCS will be used to handle a number of regional, low cost carriers (Tiger Airways, Air Mandarine), together with international charter flights (Transaero, Air Brunei). Damarel made some important enhancements to the L-DCS product particularly to suit some of the operating requirements of the Asian carriers.
