In conjunction with IER, Damarel have delivered an integrated, self-scanning solution for passengers going through security check points at Manchester International Airport.
Allied with the IER QBG (Quick Boarding Gate), Vanguard processes both ATB2 and 2D barcode boarding passes and opens and closes the automatic gate to control air-side access. Passengers presenting their documents are given an instant Go/No Go decision, including both visible and audible prompts and the opening of the gate for valid passes. By combining the two solutions, MAN have implemented a rapid, secure system for automating and controlling access through Outbound Control.
