FIDSMon, Damarel's reliable, cost effective FIDS solution, now relays live flight status information to the BBC's Ceefax Arrivals pages.  In addition, detailed live arrival and departure information is provided in XML format to Exeter Airport's web site www.exeter-airport.co.uk

Damarel's FiND Flight Information System is at the heart of the system, allowing arrival times to be updated both manually and automatically, on receipt of a Movement message.  Changes to the flight status, estimated departure/arrival times, cancellations, delays or diversions entered for the flights are all passed on to the FIDSMon module, where the data is filtered, formatted and relayed to the relevant parties over the internet.

Using the new XML data format, web site developers are able to quickly and easily display the flight data from FIDSMon in any format desired, resulting in lower web development costs for airports.
