Required Skills/Attributes

• C# .net
• ASP .net MVC
• Security: must be free of any past or present obstacle to gaining security clearance, such as that required for airports.

Other Useful Skills

• Experience of RDBMS (Oracle preferred), including database design, tuning, Stored Procedures, Packages
• Web standards (HTML/CSS), JavaScript
• Web services (WSDL, etc.)
• User Interface/User Experience design skills
• System design/architecture, team leading

Experience

• Solid experience of delivering commercial solutions using the above technologies
• Proven track record of delivering working solutions against timescales
• Industry knowledge an advantage but not essential

SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEERS

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Software Support Engineer to be part of a thriving company and to put all of your skills to use. Part of our dynamic support team, you will be responsible for providing telephone and remote desktop support for our bespoke, globally installed software.

For those looking to move on in their career, there are plenty of opportunities to specialise in particular products, adding on-site deployment and even client training to the role. If you are a  talented support engineer looking to take the next step then we'd like to talk to you.

Essential Skills/Attributes

• Excellent telephone and face to face communication skills with external clients
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good timekeeping
• Solid experience of supporting bespoke software  

Preferred Skills/Attributes

• Oracle RDBMS administration
• Proficiency in SQL
• LAN/WAN Networks
• Microsoft Windows (Server/Client)  

Other Useful Skills

• Programming background (C# / C++)
• Knowledge of Switches / Routers
• Previous user training or presentation experience
• Server/Workstation Virtualisation

Experience

• Solid experience supporting bespoke software for end-users at all levels
• Investigating and diagnosing issues in complex systems
