Employment Opportunities We are a well established, friendly company, 20 strong and growing, employing skilled software and support engineers to develop and support our class leading products. We are currently looking to fill a number of permanent positions at our offices on the Surrey/Hampshire border. Senior DevelopersWe have positions for senior software developers on Windows 2000/XP using Visual C++ and/or Gupta(Centura) SQL/Windows. The position provides involvement in all aspects of software development, and offers the opportunity to resolve technical challenges using a variety of tools and to lead small teams or manage the delivery of systems and modifications where appropriate. The role may also include some international and UK travel for installation, user training, client interface etc. You should have a degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar and five years commercial experience after qualification of software development for Windows using the above languages with experience of leading small teams and an in-depth knowledge of computer systems and software development. DevelopersWe also have positions for software developers on Windows 2000/XP using Visual C++/.NET, and/or Gupta(Centura) SQL/Windows. The position provides involvement in all aspects of hands-on software development, and offers the opportunity to resolve technical challenges. You will use a variety of tools to provide solutions encompassing user interfaces, database access and network communications. The role may also include some international and UK travel for installation. You should have a first degree or HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar, two years’ commercial experience after qualification of hands-on software development for Windows using the above languages, and real enthusiasm for software development. Support EngineerWe are looking for an installation and support engineer. The position involves technical support problem solving in response to HelpDesk calls from clients, monitoring remote systems, administering Oracle databases and setting up systems and networks both on-site and prior to shipment. The position offers the opportunity to resolve technical challenges primarily using remote access tools, and may also include some travel for installation or on-site intervention. You should have a higher qualification in IT or similar and two years commercial experience of hands-on technical support with good client-facing skills.
