Thai Airways are the largest Ground Handling Agent at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok (BKK), providing quality services to more than 40 airlines. With that many customer airlines, and with many using their own DCS, the overhead and expense of staff training, coupled with allocation problems, was proving a significant issue. To address this, Thai Airways has selected Damarel’s class-leading Babel and Embark products for use at both check-in counters and boarding gates, allowing the use of an airline’s native DCS while keeping a common agent interface. |

Cambodian Airport Management Services (CAMS) have recently completed the installation of a suite of Damarel’s passenger handling products at Siem Reap and Phnom Penh airports. 
As the sole handling agent, CAMS chose to implement the iMUSE CUTE system from ARINC, with the Damarel products selected to provide consistent, easy to use interfaces for check-in and boarding of passengers for both the flag carrying airlines and the Low Cost Carriers. |

In conjunction with IER, Damarel recently ran a successful self-scanning trial at Manchester International. By integrating Vanguard with the IER QBG, passengers were able to scan their own documents at Outbound Control Points. Vanguard performs all the checks necessary to ensure that the document is valid, and unique, and controls access airside by means of the QBG automated gate. |
